Master of Music
The Graduate programs in Music Education are designed to advance the knowledge and skills of practicing music teachers with a focus on leadership training.
This degree is best suited for practicing public school teachers with at least 3 years of public school teaching experience.
Classes are scheduled with the busy public school teacher in mind; with classes meeting evenings and during summer break.
MM-Music Education may be completed with an emphasis in conducting or Kodály certification.

Music Theory & History Diagnostic Exams
All graduate music students must sit music theory and history diagnostic exams (generally scheduled in August). Students may be required to take up to 9 additional hours of review courses in music theory and/or history based on the results of the exam.
